This thrilling film , A Map for Saturday, visually explores the exciting world of international travel, as seen through the eyes of a hostelling enthusiast, who took a year off to follow his dream. He candidly shares his personally enriching experience and encourages the viewer to make the most of the opportunity to travel affordably and safely around the world.
HI-USA’s mission: “To help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people, through hostelling.” We fulfill that mission in many ways, most notably by operating hostels. Our hostels enable those who might not otherwise be able to afford to travel to do so. Our mission lives in common rooms in over 4,000 HI hostels in more than 75 countries. Contrary to popular belief, hostels exist in the US, not just in Europe! They are open to people of all ages, not just college students. More information can be found at www.hiusa.org.
